          These too are tricky. If a cookie tells the reader to “accept the next proposal you hear,” the reader may read between the lines and foresee a coming proposal, the acceptance of which would be a boon. 

          But the cookie didn’t say any of that! It told you what to do; fortunes tell you what’s going to happen, and leave your own actions up to you to decide. Don’t be bossed around by a poorly-written dessert.
